Did I mention I caught up on Shugo Chara? The last handful of episodes were packed with delightful plot which made we squee a lot and make ben think I was crazy.
First of all, Rima and Nagi finally share a secret! YAY!!!! Rima found out that Nagihiko is also Nadeshiko. She promised him that she wouldn't tell though. AND THEN Temari (Nagi's pink egg) hatched!!!!!!!! Nagi transformed with Temari into Yamamoto Maihime which is soooooo pretty! (See icon.) Together with Rima, they got a new power that can purify x-eggs. I'm totally cheering them on as a couple. And then they will live happily ever after.
While that was happening, Amu had rushed ahead to rescue Ikuto who was currently being brainwashed by Easter Corp. She gave him a hug, which of course woke him up from the brainwashing because this is the magical girl universe where hugs and sparkles are the most powerful things in the universe.
At some point, Ikuto's key and Amu's lock ended up together (Let's just ignore that symbolism for now) and there was light! And sparkles! And new transformations!
Amu became Amulet Fortune, which is a combination of all her guardian eggs. It's a wedding dress. LAME!!!!! I am seriously disappointed that her ultimate dream for the future is to be a bride. I was a bride. It's not all that exciting. It's actually kinda stressful. Be a rocket scientist, Amu! Not a bride!
Ikuto had the far superior costume change. He's now Seven Seas Treasure. A CATBOY PIRATE! His hat even has a little skull and crossbones kitty on it.
It ended in a cliff-hanger though. They just transformed and then the episode ends. I am super excited for what will happen next. Whyyyyy must I wait so long for episodes!?
Oh, and I found a list for anyone who wants to start watching Shugo Chara, but does not want to bother with filler eps. It tells you which ones are important to the story. It's only for the first season though. If I can't find a second season list, maybe I'll write one on my own. (With what free time?)
