(no subject)

I tried to finish cleaning the bathroom last night, but the ring around the bathtub discouraged me. Tonight I'll try bad smelling chemicals.

Ben is going to help me clean the living room tonight too. Then tomorrow I'll do the sewing room. Friday night will be the kitchen and the bedroom.

It was so much easier to clean when I was using it to distract myself! Now that ben comes home at a normal time again, I just want to sit on the couch and cuddle. Not clean!

Behold! The fabric I purchased last night!

This is my favorite fabric. It has all the things I love! Hearts! Stars! The moon! And it's all blue! Clearly this fabric was meant for me. Unfortunately someone else thought so about this fabric as well because there were only 2.5 yards of it left. So sad!


I thought this fabric was pretty cute even though it's pink. I love the little sneaky raccoons! The fabric is made of soft flannel so maybe I'll make some pajamas or something out of it.


I don't think this fabric would be good all by itself (too overpowering!) but I think it would look really nice as accents to things. Pockets, edges, ruffles, etc. I think the only thing it would be good for all on its own would be maybe a purse.


I have a plan for these two. Sorta. Some sort of paneled skirt, I think. Wouldn't it look cute to have alternating panels of hearts and butterflies? Then if I have leftovers, maybe I can make a paneled shirt to match.
