Aug. 19th, 2008 01:00 pmI think the cat-urine neighbors are finally moved out. What a literal breath of fresh air.
I don't think I've mentioned them much, except when people visit and I need to apologize for the cat urine stench. It's not that they don't really disgust me, it's that I think the couple is actually mentally retarded. (Diagnosed by a doctor, not just really really stupid.) Making fun of the disabled isn't very good game. (Unless I'm really angry. Then I'm not holding back.)
Anyway, I think they are finally moved out. The stench has been gradually dissipating. The leasing office will probably have to hire someone to rip everything out of that apartment. When the door is open, I nearly vomit.
This couple would frequently go on vacation without finding someone to take care of their cat. They'd be gone for weeks, this poor cat locked up with no one to clean the litter box. I wouldn't be surprised if they let the cat use the whole apartment as a litter box, the way it smelled. In hindsight, I probably should have reported them for animal neglect, but I doubt the county would do anything useful anyway.
They left behind a foul-smelling space heater with a sign saying "free" on it. Unfortunately they left it at the bottom of the stairs where no one can see it but ben and myself. And I'm not touching that smelly thing to throw it out. It's like they knew I despised their stench and they left one last stinky parting gift on my doorstep.

Aug. 19th, 2008 03:45 pmMy parents are going to Florida around Oct 18-25. Do I want to go?
Pros:
- I like disney
- I like vacations
Cons:
- It costs money
- It's with my parents
Does anyone else want to go? It's a big townhouse, so if friends actually wanted to make a weekend of it (maybe the weekend of the 18th) then I might be more willing to go.
Also, I need a better disney icon that does not say I'm going to disney.
