Oct. 3rd, 2009 11:24 amI went to the farmer's market this morning. It was a nice day for it.
I bought eggs, an onion, and a pepper. I'm making chili and corn bread for dinner tonight.
After that, I went to the bank to deposit some of the checks I got from the wedding. They gave me a really hard time about the one addressed to my married name, even though I had my marriage certificate with me to prove it was me. I think I'll wait until my name is finally changed before I try the ones to ben and my married self.
On the way home, I stopped at the food store to pick up the last of the chili ingredients. It will be a tasty tasty dinner.

Oct. 3rd, 2009 08:18 pmVeggie chilli has been made and it was delicious. We used this recipe and left out the tofu cause I hate almost all tofu. We had cornbread as the side. Too bad none of my pictures came out well. It was a tasty sight to behold.
I found the recipe using Recipe Puppy. Which I'll admit I only gave a try because it had puppy in the name. But it worked really well! I like that I can list the things I have in the pantry and it can give me some recipes to try out.
