Ben and I walked over to town center last night to see Iron Man 2. It was like a date night!

However, the showing we wanted to see was completely sold out. We had to buy tickets for the next showing, which was 90 minutes later.

It wasn't a big deal. We had dinner before the movie instead of after. Then we walked around the area, browsing in stores until it was late enough to go into the theater.

I was surprised that I mostly enjoyed the movie. Tony Stark is one of my most hated marvel characters. But there were lots of fights and explosions and almost NO ROMANCE, so it was a pretty good movie.

The little romance that was there was like married couple romance, which is so much more tolerable.

I really liked how the female characters were both very strong and competent. Good for marvel on that one.

If anyone who reads this goes to see the movie, don't forget to stay until after the credits. Despite signs all over the doors telling people to stay, more than half the people in the theater got up right away. So lame! Their loss though I guess.
For dinner I made tomato basil soup because I currently have more fresh basil than I know what to do with. (And don't suggest pesto. I hate pesto.)
