Talking to parents = Stress
Sep. 18th, 2005 11:57 amI called my parents today. I am now kinda on edge and full of hate.

So now I'm all angry and cranky over the "we're the parents and can take over your adult life" thing. They don't even want me to get a hotel with ben, if we went on vacation. I'm not sure my mother is aware that as adults with our own income, we can spend it to go wherever we want. And she can't do anything about it.
The angry melissa plan now is to go on a vacation with ben and take pictures to send to her of our hotel room, which will have one bed.
GRRR! So, yes, angry. Went and took a bath to calm down, but it didn't work. It just made me cleaner, not calmer. Maybe I'll try to nap...
