One day I will learn and take my own advice on simplicity patterns. Don't use them.

I'm trying to make a skirt from an "easy" pattern. I'm stuck on step 2. This is after screaming at the pattern for not telling me to cut out half the pieces I needed. (Pattern - Step 1: Stay-stitch pieces 1, 2, and 3. Me - O.O What? I didn't know I had to cut those out!)

I am foolish and buy them even though I know better because I cannot resist a sale. :(

I remember this one pattern that was so bad, I threw out the directions and tried to guess how it went together. The end result looked fine to me but I had one piece left over.

I typically do the same... can't pass up a $1 pattern, end up putting it together on my own. X_x
