I forgot to mention how I embarrassed a little girl this weekend. Not
intentionally, but she seemed a little upset.

It was at the tae kwon do picnic when I had finished eating and was politely
listening to conversation while I waited for other people to finish so I
could bring my tupperware home.

The girl ran up from
behind me and poked me in the back before sitting down next to me. It was
weird but ok, kids are weird. She says "hi" and then starts rambling at me
full force about movies she had seen and shows she likes and how her brother
annoys her.

I was polite and asked questions where in seemed appropriate, but I was
really really confused why this kid was telling me all this stuff.

Then the question that solved the mystery. She asked me which high school I
went to.

I was kinda mean (but she DID throw me off guard) because I laughed as I
explained to her that I was already pretty old. I explained I had been out
of college for a few years already and that high school was a long long time
ago.

I tried to calm her embarrassment by explaining that people make mistakes
about my age all the time though. I pointed out that one of the other
students in the class made that mistake only the day before. It happens ALL
the time.

She stopped talking to me after that and as soon as she found a chance, she
ran off.
