I feel much better. I actually cheered up rather quickly once I yelled at myself to get on with life. That's always a good thing to do. No matter how sad you are, if you pull yourself back up things have no option other than improving.

So Tara talked to me. And I downloaded a massive amount of sprites!!!! I love those little things...theyre so cute! And I have a billion new buddy icons. Still not one for every mood. But i'm getting pretty close!

Now I'm talking to Greg because I'm the only freak who is awake and sober tonight. (Wheee...Mardi Gras...)

He's pretty amusing when he's sleep deprived. Behold, some exerpts! (Of course edited so you can't say horrible things about me to my friends!)

Its kinda scary to be the only sober people on the entire campus.....

Yay!!!! A parade!!!!

Mardi Gras!!!!

Right as I was about to feel all sad about not having anything to do or anyone to hang out with and worrying about how I was becomeing a dorm hermit, I get invited to a parade!!!!!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

It was Me, Greg, Kelly, Charlie, and Jen. Luckily they all wanted to eat before we left, so I had time to get ready! then I scurried over to the UC. They all pointed out that I didn't have a chair. I didn't know I needed one...

Anyway, they ate and mocked me cause I woke up at 2 and charlie played with jen's bracelet and greg bought me a bag of chips cause he needed quarters for the streetcar...

We got a really good spot for the parades! Right in the front! But we had to wait a very long time....poo...

The first parade was called Sparta. There were lots of floats and dancers and bands. And it was ever so fun! Lets see....what did I get from this parade....?

Now 15 beads may not seem a lot, but YOU try wearing them around your neck! It's a lot!

I actually didn't catch most of them. I only caught a handful. But everytime one of in the group got a bunch, we would split it up so that everyone had some!

During the middle of that parade a very creepy drunk guy and his daughter showed up. (grr!) COMPLETELY drunk...stumbling around...trying to grab at the dancers...hitting the horses....being a bit too friendly with his daughter...Yuck! And he was there the whole time! And wouldn't go away! But aside from him, it was a very fun night!

I learned that there is an art to getting beads. And I am very bad at it. Jen was very good at it. She got MANY beads....

Watching drunks dance to marching band music is funny...

When it was over, greg was tired so he left. He offered to let me borrow his chair, but I didn't. It's a good thing too, cause the drunk guy kept trying to sit in our chairs.

About 15 minutes later the next parade started. It was called Pegasus! (Stupid horse!!!!!!!!) So every float had something to do with horses. The old quarter horses did fine around the drunks. But the other ones kept getting scared. The drunk guy slapped one in the butt and it ran into the crowds a bit! You'd think after that he'd learn...but HE DID IT AGAIN later!!!! Taht horse did run into the crowd. I fell down, but a chair was behind me so all was good.

I didn't get as much stuff from this parade. Mostly because the drunk guy kept taking stuff before I could grab it....grrr....But I did get some stuff!

Hmmm...I wonder if anyone will be going to parades tomorrow....let's see what they are.....Tomorrow is Carrollton, and King Arthur. Oooh! I want to go to king arthur!

Hmmm...I should check later to see what other parades there are.

I think I want to go to Endymion...

There's an amusing one that Greg and Charlie want to go to. All the people in the parade are women and they throw beads only to the men. So the guys have to do dumb silly stuff to get enough attention and get beads.

*yawn* Well, I should try to get some homework done today....or I'll read Shaw Island....
