*giggle* I jsut took a quiz...It says that the character I was testing it with is girly. Well, um, yes, that was the POINT of the character! Anyway, I'm REALLY sleepy right now, even after nearly 12 hours of sleep.

So what am I doing home, you ask? Because I was just too exhausted. Tuesday is the least busy day anyway. I won't be missed that much. Plus it gives me a chance to update my journal! Yay!!!

Now lets see if I can remember everything....

Ok, so saturday I went to [livejournal.com profile] laura47's house. She was scanning many many pictures. (Obsession?) And we watched Eva! I learned how to peel potatoes. We developed more pictures and I helped scan them. Ctrl+R, Ctrl+S...Repeat as desired.

Then we went to Spiderman! When she had called me earlier, she asked if I wanted to go. I squeaked "yes." If I didn't control myself, my silly little fangirl obsessions would have kicked in and started to scream YES!LET'SGO!NOW!I'VEBEENWAITINGMYENTIRELIFEFORTHISMOVIE!WHYAREWEONTHEPHONETALKINGWHENWECOULDBEATTHEMOVIEWATCHINGIT!? Heh...^^;

Anyway, we waiting on the huge line that stratched out into the cold (Note to self: Don't go to the movies on a saturdaynight. Ever. No.) And we took silly pictures! There were scary children, but I was good and didn't try to run away. Scary children.......

The line for the movie was huge! Bigger than the ticket line! And we wandered around a lot. Laura kept losing her ticket. In her pockets. *sigh* Next time, I think I'll hold onto the tickets! (I'm kidding laura! I love you! Just don't put the ticket in the secret pocket unless you can remember that you have a secret pocket, ok?)

And, and, and MOVIE!!!!! Need...To...See...Again...

Laura kept asking me random stuff, and I knew all teh answers. So my little obsession was exposed. I blame foxkids. They had that silly cartoon and I got all into it and the enxt thing you knew I was reading the comics. Honestly, I think drug dealers have a more respectable profession that comic dealers. Comic addictions are dangerous things, kids! (Looks at latest transmet receipt...*sigh* Need a job...)

It's such a fun movie! And I was all in absolute fangirl joy. God...I'm such a geek....I outgeeked laura for a bit! Laura! The one who goes to mit! ^^;

Movie movie movie movie!!!!

That ended up getting me home REALLY late. I woke up 5 hours later. So this would be sunday now. I think that will go in another entry.

i like quizzes )

Sunday

May. 21st, 2002 01:15 pm
Dad woke me up. I had five hours of sleep. Ouchies. But I got up. And washed. And dressed.

I wandered down the stairs and saw something that made me twitch.

Sewing machine...*twitch* Sitting in the hallway...*twitch* Huge sewing box sitting next to it...*twitch twitch* Box of fabric sitting on the other side...*twitch*

Mommy walked downstairs and said that my aunt inherited it from my great grandma. But she doesn't want it. *twitch* So it's mine! *SQUEAL*

I have a sewing machine!!!!! (Now I jsut have to figure out how it works!)

So then we drove into the city. Parking is a million miles away from the javitts center, so we had a very long walk. In the cold. I was not happy. And the wind kept trying to steal my hat!!!!

I got to wear my hat all day! I was protected from any skin cancer that I may have developed from the huge lights in the javitts center! An it matched my dress. It was all hawaiian and bright and happy and the sunshine!

Most of the day was spent standing around, talking to people, and giving out catalogues. [livejournal.com profile] laura47 says I am the booth babe. So I shouldn't have to do any work, right? I'm supposed to stand around and look pretty!

Instead, I was running around doing all sorts of horrible horrible work! I don't like to work! But i learned the trick soon enough. When I didn't know the answer, I made it up! I guess it was a good thing that I knew most of the stuff already. I've been doing this show for too many years I think....

So what will be sold in the stores in the enxt few months? Well, patriotism is the first thing. They managed to stick an american flag on everything! It was disgusting!

Now before anyone starts yelling at me that I shoudl be more respectful, and junk like that, consider this. These people are making money for themselves. Exploiting something really bad. So I think tourturing people who sell american flag dancing santas is my duty!

What else? Um...Nostalgia! So much of it! [livejournal.com profile] amandanoelle82 will enjoy it. Everything is from the 80s! I saw Popples!!!! Don't you remember those guys!? I still have them on tape somewhere in a box! I loved that show! But the guy who was selling them wouldn't give me free stuff...*pout*

The best thing I saw at the show had to have been the one, the only, SANDMAN!!!!!! I saw sandman merchandise and I was all squealing and bouncing and making a complete fool of myself! :D

They had a post card set, with such beautiful pictures!!!! So pretty! Want!!! And they had two blank note books. One was Dream, and the other was Death. Both very very pretty! But I think I liked the Dream one better. It was the cover from Amano's Dreamhunters. The pretty pretty artwork. But the best was the calendar!!!!! It was all pretty! And there were quotes! And they had dates lsited!!!! Like Mad Hetties Birthday!!!!! *ferret shock*

Other than that, I didn't see too much else. I didn't see any melting pandas...*pout* But I amused myself in other ways. Like whenever I saw something particularly annoying (like all the patriotism) I would find a rep and shout at him HULK SMASH!!!!! And then scamper off. I don't feel bad for doing that. Mainly because I know if someone did that to me, I'd be so incredibly amused. the show gets so boring sometimes that you beg for anythign interesting to happen! So I was bringing a bit of sunshine to their day!

I was also looking for bubble tea, but none of the shops at the center had it, and I wasn't allowed to wander too far from into the city. So I am still without bubble tea. *pout*

Eventually th show ended. I fell asleep in the car. Then I dragged myself to my bed when I got home to sleep some more. My parents woke me for dinner. We went to a diner. I had raviolis. Yum! Then I went back to bed.

And so begins monday. Which will get a new page. Wheee!

So dad wakes me again. I get washed and dressed. I wore a cheesy goth dress thingie. I think I looked silly. And I put a big ribbon bow in my hair. So really I looked like some sort of doll. It amused me. >^^<

We took the train to the city this time. I am proud to say I acutally knew what I was doing! I am able to take the train to the city on my own if I had to, I'd just get lost after I got to Penn Station. ^^;;;

Mom and dad had issues buying tickets. I offered to help, but they were stubborn. Now we have those stupid gold dollars that no one uses. I told dad that if he gave them to me, I'd spend them when I got back to new orleans. I don't think they get to see many of them down there.

The bus to the center passed by some amusing signs. One was "Made by a Human Head." I ahve no idea what it was about. The other was disturbing. It was "Recession Special - $1.97." It offered a hot dog, a bag of chips, and a soda I think. But...recession special!? Oh yeah, that's cheerful...Only in ny!

My dad was trying to find out what everyone wanted for breakfast. I told him I wanted "Eggs and cheese, no bacon." He said, "Ok, so you want Egg and bacon, no cheese, right?" I corrected him, but I knew he wasn't going to coem back with what I wanted. What did he return with? Cheese and Bacon!!!! Ewwwww!!! I don't think it's possible for a human to eat that much solidified fat all at once! Needless to say, I sent him back to get it right!

I did lots and lots and lots of work. Only took two breaks. On one, I saw a beautful leather notebook with a handle and a clasp to keep it clsoed and the evil guy wouldn't give it to me. I've deicded that since I can't be at the comp all day writing all the stuff I think up or see and stuff like that, I should write it in a notebook so I can do that later. But I don't want just any notebook! I had to be strong enough to take a beating! And it ahd to look pretty! That notebook had it all! I want it!!!!!!

During my other break, I went to a booth that was having free tarot readings. The woman said that in the past, things were really easy for me. That currently, I was having some hard times. That I need more patience and need to work harder to achieve my goals. If I do that, I will be happy in the future. And all my debts will be paid.

I don't know, it was kinda fun and kinda silly.! :P

Later, Dad took me around. This wasn't actaully a break. We were looking for chocolate dipped spoons. And we found some! But while we were looking, I saw a most wonderful thing. I flew from my dads side to the display. It was Spderman! And ORIGIN!!! On little cds. Each issue was on a cd and it was THERE! So I was bouncing around and tlaking to the rep and giggling WAY TOO MUCH!!! (Dad says I looked really goofy.) But the guy gave me the first issue of Origin! *squeal* He says I am obviously a fan and it was ok. then my dad talked to the guy a bit. He was selling some other stuff too. Like this thing tha you put a card in and it amkes the picture 3D. It was pretty nifty!

I was bouncing around all silly and happy with my comic goodness... ^^;

That lasted me the rest of the day and we eventually packed up to leave. I actaully got to go online, cause well, I'm not working today! I was just way too tired! But I'll go back tomorrow!

I need to find something to do this summer....

I was going to get a job. But my parents, in their typical way of trying to control every aspect of my life, have informed me that I'm working for my mom this summer. They said it will only be for 3 weeks and that I'm welcome to find another job that I can do the rest of teh summer.

Excuse me, but what job am I going to find that will let me take off for 3 weeks?

*sigh* There goes all my plans for getting some money this summer. I want to visit [livejournal.com profile] laura47, but now I don't know where I'll get the money. And there was so much other random stuff I wanted to do. Like, now that I have a sewing machine, I want to try my hand at making some nice garb. But fabric costs money. Lots of it. I hope my parents realize that they are now obligated to pay for anything I want to do this summer.

In the mean time, I play video games. I got Eiko's trance bar to be nearly full. I was jsut about to fight a boss, when I got attacked by a random battle. On the first move he hit her and ruined my trance! So now I'm going to level up again until she is closer to trance. She's got the strongest spell--Holy. When she trances, she can cast it twice on one turn! I LOVE when she does that! And I make it even better by shouting silly things like "behold my divine fury!!!" Cause thats just fun!

Maybe I'll go read my comics now...
