(no subject)

Oh, I forgot, my roommate told me something yesterday that, for some unknown reason, amused me greatly.

She had gone downtown to clubs and whatnot the night before. And was telling me about this one that she really liked. She said the coolest part was that it didn't play the usual dance music. They played goth music.

So I asked, "Goth music? How so?"

And she goes on to say that it wasn't the stuff thta she listens to. Or that her friend listens to. But more like what I listened to.

^^; I thought that was pretty amusing. I've always wondered what my music tastes sound like to other people.

This is going to be my checklist friday night. So don't mind me.

I've been working on my dress for friday. In the daylight, it's not as bad as I feared, so maybe it will look decent! (*reminds self* Act like it's great and others will belive you.)

I have a black prom dress with green dots on it. The dress is really poofy, and the dots are actually part of that sheer outer stuff that they add to poofy dresses. (I can't describe things well, so if you don't udnerstand, you'll ahve to wait until friday.)

I was originally going to cut the top part off. It's hideous with way too many green dots. But the waist on the dress is much too big. So I'm tucking the top into the bottom. The end results are:
1) A waist that fits me slightly better
2) Added poof to the dress
Both are GOOD things! :)

As a top, I've got a strapless tank top. Though, it needs to be washed. Badly. And I'll cover that with a very thin sorta jacket. It's thin enough that it's see-thru, but it has nice little hem thngies, which will add interestingness to the outfit hopefully.

My boots don't really match, but they're all I've got. Unless someone has black dress shoes. Size 7 1/2, anyone?

I've got a cute black ribbon that I'll tie as a bow for my necklace. I'm sure I can steal makeup from someone. I really don't own any, as I don't go out. Ever.

And I want to try to put half my hair up in pigtails. I know what I'm talkinga bout here.

I'd still like gloves. But I know I won't find any. Ah well, almost time for work. No more time to play!
