Yay! I finally sit down to write!
So yesterday afternoon I finally got around to making stir-fry. I had never made it fresh before, and because I was too lazy to look up a recipe, I was going at it blind. Greg got to be the lucky guinea pig for the whole adventure. He helped me eat it all and finish off my rice.
Though, he complained about there not being any meat in the stir-fry. You know, I've never had meat in my stir-fry. It seems so strange! And anyway, I had said it was going to be veggie stir-fry. If he wanted meat he could have brought some.
I think it came out pretty well. It was a little too oily though. Next time I'll use less oil. Other than that I liked it. And the soy ginger stuff I used tastes much better when you cook it with actual food, rather than just pour it over rice.
Then greg hung around for the rest of the evening. We were waiting to see when we were going to see X2. Ariana said we acted very mature. Greg decided it would be fun to color on me with chalk, but didn't want me to color on him. There was much battling and screaming and I flopped around. :P
Kelly and charlie came to pick us up for the 7:45 showing. Greg was actually able to come along because he found someone to cover their work shift. And "lj user="yukihyouchan"> came too! So many people! So exciting!
When we got to the theater, all the showings were sold out until 12:30. So we got our tickets and then hung out in walmart. Charlie said he felt like he was in high school again. :P
I was able to buy candy at walmart cause megan was all clever and stuff and pointed out that movie tickets can get student discounts. I saved just enough for candy! Wheee! :)
X-men 2 was great. Not the best movie of all time, but definitely worth going to see. It was A LOT of fun! The opening scene is pure Nightcrawler goodness. He moves just as he should! *BAMF* Sure he's not fuzzy, but he's still cuddly in his own special way.
Some stuff in the movie left me kind of confused. But I don't think it was supposed to. I think important stuff got cut out due to time constraints. *shrugs* It happens. Let's hope they add it back on the dvd.
Anyway, I enjoyed it. Very much so.
Woke up around noon. Made pancakes. Yum. Then when greg got off from work we went to celebrate Free Comic Book day. I got an issue of Ultimate X-Men, Slave Labor, and Avatar. I liked the slave labor one best, and I'm not sure what I thought about x-men. I didn't like avatar at all. It was more of a blatant advertizement than a comic.
Took a nap after that. Sleep was good. Woke up around 8, absolutely amazed that I could sleep that late.
Made pancakes for dinner again. Isn't it sad how eating pancakes twice in one day is better than having pasta again? They were big pancakes too. Yummy.
Ariana came home and bought me a Nightcrawler bobble head. Wheeee! It;s REALLY cool. A little creapy, with the pointy teeth and all, but it's still nifty. I was telling greg all about it while I went with him to rite-aid, but he wasn't as excited about it as I was. :P
Good happy shiny things! Though, now I should start my take-home final. :P Booo...
