Still looking for NYC people. :P

Arm still hurts. But I'll just have to deal, right? Last night the thingie wrapped around my wrist was so tight that I lost all feeling in my hand! So I woke up sometime around 4 in the morning, with no use of my right hand. And have you any idea how hard it is to unhook a safety pin with only your left hand? At four in the morning? Yeah, so that was special. This morning I put the wrap back on, but nowhere near as tight.

This morning I looked out the window and saw this huge blue thing! With a glowing ball of something stuck to it! And there was no water falling from the sky!!! It's amazing! Sunny day number four of being home. However, it's still REALLY cold. Too cold to even shower! I think I might ddr until I'm so gross I won't mind taking a shower.

Mom left money on the kitchen table to buy groceries. Mustnotgotofabricstoremustnotgotofabricstoremustnotgotofabricstore! Also, I need to find a bigger pot for my bamboo plant. It's grown too big for it's little cup.

Hehe, I was looking at something that I thought was amazingly stupid when the radio suddenly started playing some song about a stupid girl. Heh, I'm not quite sure why I find that so funny.

Other dorky things, I had a nightmare lastnight, but it was a good one. Sure, it terrified me to no end, but if I wrote it down it would make a great story. Then entire thing flowed so well, with plot and characters and everything. *clings to it* I think I'm going to try to write it down today before I forget it all.
Mom left me money on the table to go food shopping. I was a good girl and actually went. I like food shopping. There's a sense that I can take millions of combinations of things there, and use them to make something that people will enjoy. However, I'm not quite sure how to food shop. My family buys our food every night. So I never learned how to buy food weeks in advance. At school, I'm always worried about not having enough, so I buy too much.

Anyway, today I bought too much cereal and veggies and cold cuts. I'd forgotten how much I like the deli in the supermarket here. The lady taht runs it is so amazingly nice. She will let you try everything in the case before you buy it if you want to. Usually, she even gives you a bit to snack on while she's cutting it for you. Today I asked her to cut the ham as thin as possible, and she gave me a slice to eat to make sure it was alright before she finished cutting. Every other place I know just holds the meat up to show me that it's paper thin. But this lady is nifty.

There was a sale on Pirate's Booty. It's yummy and has a funny name. Got two bags of it. *munch crunch* And twizzlers. Yummy.

When I came home, I went to work on kelly's pants. However, the next step are the snaps. You need a hammer for that. My wrist is still sore, so I didn't want to risk it holding a big heavy hammer. Instead, I worked on that underskirt for my pirate skirt. I can look silly and wear it to the city on wednesday! :)

In other news, my puppy is really cute.
