It's the first day of classes. I've done this all before. Why am I so stupidly nervous?
Last night was the last night before classes. I spent it with [livejournal.com profile] yukihyouchan playing the inu yasha video game. It was much fun! And quite easy to get the hang of. That's always a good thing when you're a button masher like me.

We took a short break to watch a new episode of inu yasha. It was so cute! I love shippo's little crayon drawings!!!! かわいいです!!! And inu yasha is such a jerk. Kagome should kick him. :P

We also tried my chrysanthemum tea that I bought. It was....different. It tastes like honey at first, with an aftertaste of grass. Very strange.

But that ended my last night of freedom. Classes started this morning bright and early.

Mythology was my first class. It actually sees pretty good. The prof tries to be funny. :P The only slight problem is that that guy joe from freshman year is in the class. However, it's such a big class, so I shall not let it bother me.

Asian studies seems very dull, which dissapoints me. The prof speaks in a very dry tone. Makes me sleepy. I hope the class will improve, as it was the one I most wanted to be in. Greg, megan, and max are in that class though! So many people! *ferret shock*

After that, I went back to the book store because it turned out I needed more books. The total is now over $600. *sob* I am so poor.

Once I was poor and sad, I went and met kelly and charlie for lunch with greg and megan. I am so happy to see so many people! Great joy! I missed everyone so much! Socializing maintains my sanity! :)

We all departed after fooding. Greg was very rude and left without telling anyone goodbye! So Kelly mocked him. I approve. It is as it should be.

I'm home now, with many tiny stupid ants crawling over all my stuff. I HATE these ants! I've been trying to kill them, but they hide in my keyboard. I have no idea why they are here! There's no open food anywhere! Just as a precaution, I put my bread in a tupperware thing. That way they can't somehow sneak into the bag.

I've got to register my bike but it sounds like it's about to rain. Poo....I think I'm going to get wet....
Registering one's bike should not be that confusing. I went down to tupd, and they gave me the forms. Simple enough. Filled out everything but the make and serial number. I had written down a billion numbers off my bike so I wasn't sure which ones I was supposed to use.

I asked the lady working and she got REALLY angry with me. Apparently all of my numbers were from stickers, so they weren't usable. I think she had to deal with that a few too many times today because she grrred at me. I was very polite, asking where I COULD find the serial number. In an terrible exasperated tone of voice she gave me a thousand places to look.

So I went down to hrl to find out about my job. Hrl says I'm working at sharp. I don't want to work there! Truthfully, I'm a little frightened to walk by all that construction at night. I'd much prefer to work somewhere close by or at least somewhere without all sorts of corners and such to hide in. I'm kinda paranoid, but at least I'm safe.

I need to call a man named Troy to fix this up, I'm told. I got his number, so I'll take care of thta in a little bit.

Returned home and had a horrible time trying to find that serial number. Eventually it was found UNDER the bike! Megan had to help me flip it over! :P

However, got it all filled out and walked back to tupd. My bike is now registered. It shall be going outside as soon as greg gets here to put the basket on it. I'm printing papers out for him, so I think it's a fair trade.

And I hate these ants! *squish!*

Does anyone have a socket wrench I could borrow? Please? It is a matter of basket attaching urgency!!!!

[EDIT: It turns out that the holder for my U-lock is too small for my bike. So I took the useless screws and used them to attach my basket to the bike. The U-lock can sit in the basket, thus eliminating the need for a holder. Everything works out! Woohoo!]
Gross thought of the day: Today it was told to me that beets will make you pee red. Bet you didn't know that. I didn't know it either. And I bet you wish I enver shared that. :P
