Both my suite mates speak some sort of Russian. My roommate and I do not. Thus, my suite mates must be communists! Yes! They are the East and we are the West! Soon, there shall be a wall build up around the bathroom (which we shall now refer to as Berlin) and an Iron Curtain shall descend!

Please, some one stop me from printing out propaganda posters for the sake of the FREE WORLD!!!!

Another thought...The gubernatorial elections have been mentioned a bit recently. I believe, in order to stir up the public's interest in politics, the government should consider renaming a few positions.

For example, the candidates should be known as Gubers. That way, people know exactly what they are voting for when they watch the debates. (What are the gubernatorial for anyway?)

Then, the winning guber shall gain a higher status, the Uber Guber.

Wouldn't you want to vote for your city's uber guber?
Today while walking to class I noticed the headline of a newspaper. "FLAME RETARDANT FOUND IN BREAST MILK". Now, while that might hold itnerest to some, WHY was it the top news story? How does that affect the lives of its readers? *sigh* The universe scares me....

But at least I got a free snowball. Yummy! I enjoyed it quite happily outside while waiting for my class to begin. (I head to class incredibly early and wait outside because I enjoy the weather and there are lots of nice, shady seats around there.)

Class was terribly boring. But we finally finished talking about The Good Soldier. I'll never have to deal with that book ever again! Yay! *happy dance*

Then, being the good girl that I am, I went to the store and bought milk. They got card swipey machines now! Wow! All fancy!

Also, as I was using my emergency funds to buy the milk, I discovered something extraordinary. My mom paid for my airline tickets.
My mom PAID for my airline tickets!
MY MOM PAID FOR MY AIRLINE TICKETS!?!?

I had left the cash for her to send to the airline because it was on my credit card and the bill goes to her even though I pay for it. Instead of using that cash she must ahve put it into my emergency cash acount. Wow. *twitch* It's amazing.

This is an exhausted melissa. I've been working non-stop (aside from preparing dinner) all afternoon and evening. I'm nearly done with Brave New World. Studied nearly everything I had to for japanese. Did a little bit of reading for media.

I need about 3 or 4 extra hours in the day to get everything done....

I think I'm going to shower now and go to bed.... *yawn*
