Nov. 29th, 2003 12:52 pmWell, I'm back on campus.
Woke up at some ungodly hour. I didn't even check the time. I knew it was too early. My hair hadn't even cooled from the hot shower I took before bed. Anyway, we drove out to the airport where it was then ungodly cold. The wind was blowing so hard that I was getting blown away! I'm serious here, I had trouble walking through this wind.
Got tickets. Said goodbye to parents. Got to terminal. Saw the pregnant woman and her child from last week's flight. She was coming to new york to visit the kids dad. Also saw the three old ladies from last week. They were going to new york to celebrate the mother's birthday. The other two were the daughters who had never been on a plane before and were very nervous. Perhaps I shouldn't people watch so much and mind my own bussiness.
I fell asleep before the plane took off. The last thing I remember was the stewardess telling me my seat was a floatation devise. I woke up about 30 minutes before the end of the flight. My left then began to center around 30 minutes.
It took me 30 minutes to get my luggage. 30 minutes to get a shuttle. 30 minutes to get to school.
But now I'm here! Yay! And I missed everyone!!!! I'm glad to be back. Though I'm not glad to be back to schoolwork.
Oh, and while I was on the plane, I had a weird dream. I guess the gift buying season has affected my poor brain. I dreamed that I was shopping for gifts and panicking because I realized that I forgot to buy a gift for charlie and kelly's wedding. For some reason they were getting married the day after christmas so I had to get the a christmas gift and a wedding gift. I was also panicking because I was trying to make a dress to wear to the ceremony but with christmas and finals and whatnot, I wasn't sure I'd have enough time.
And right about now, if kelly and charlie are reading this, they are gasping on the floor going, "WEDDING!?!?!?"
