Christmas Festivities
Dec. 16th, 2003 06:45 pmOk, before I get to anything else, a small announcement. Currently, the power source to my computer is in my luggage. That means my computer is quite dead. So if I'm slow answering anything....it's cause I can't find a computer. I'll take care of everything once I get home. My flight is at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning! Ewww!
And now! On to um, stuff! Stuff I did! Yup! Stuff!
Yesterday was my japanese final. I think I did pretty well, though I messed up slightly on the months. But looking at my grades today, I got an A- for the class! Woohoo!!! :)
Then I rushed off to lunch where I was still too nervous to eat. Speeches make my tummy sad. But it calmed down after a little bit and I ate greg's french fries.
Afterwards, there was a minor worry with a suitemate gone missing, but it worked itself all out pretty fast.
I wrote a quick paper after that for asian religions and handed it in and then I WAS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! No more classes! Great amounts of joy!!!!
I stopped by greg at work after an unsuccessful attempt to steal toilet paper from the UC. (We ran out of toilet paper and there was no more in the building! It was a tragedy!!!!) Hung out there for a bit while he named my shoes, glasses, and buttons. Yes, we were really bored. Kelly and charlie stopped by a little after that and megan and I offered to help them clean the apt for their christmas party.
I wasn't very helpful. ^^; I sorta um, hate cleaning. But I made an effort! I really did! Then got cold and sleepy. Greg gave me a blanket to roll up in, and I went into hibernation for a bit.
The christmas party was ever so much fun! There were people! And gifts! And um, people! :D It was lots of happiness all around!!! Some people a little too happy though, after having a couple of drinks. You know who you were, you silly tipsy people. :P
I got shiny gifts! So many!!!

- Lion King Special Edition
- Gambit action figure
- Sweater that makes me look like a goth muppet
- Quotable Sandman (which you know is cool cause I already had it)
The last one is going to be returned. I wonder what other shiny thing I'll get! :)
After the gifts, we played Living Dead Dolls game or something. It wasn't particularly good, but the cards had the most amazing ways to die. I think it wouls ahve been a better game if there were more spell cards that would let us actually DO something. :P Anyway, it wasn't too bad cause when fun people are playing, it can make something interesting.
I was sad when I had to leave. Well, I'm always sad when I ahve to leave, but I was moreso than usual. Roze and scott were nice enough to drive us home. I was still quite awake when I got home, so I stayed online for a bit.
Woke up this morning with a luna plushie staring me in the eyes. Very strange to wake up to. :P
I returened my library books this morning. Christmas came early when I returned to my dorm to find a wondefully full box of toilet paper in the lobby. Then sat with megan to eat breakfast and listen to greg's radio show. I spilled milk in her bed and felt like a terrible awful person.... I'm sorry megan! I didn't mean to!!!!!!!!
Yeah, so um, after that, we met greg at the UC. He had his christmas gift with him, a shiny bike. No more of that old one that kept breaking. This one goes whooosh! :)
After greg left and megan went to take her final, I returned my womens's library books. Then stopped at the front desk to talk to tom for a bit. Had to run off after a bit to start packing.
Charlie stopped by to help me get the power supply out of my computer. I shall bring it home and buy a new one. Hopefully this won't be too hard. Greg offered to send his dad looking in computer shows for me, but I worry that it won't fit or something weird like that. I don't understand computers very well......
Now I'm nearly all packed. And I'm at work. After work, I'm going to see christmas dinosaurs. Life is good. :)
