(no subject)

Even though I fear others may not have had as nice a time as I did, I actually enjoyed the new years thing. It wasn't spectacularly exciting or anything, I'm not good at that, so I hope no one was expecting that. It was nice to get off campus and away from my room and to distract myself utterly.

zorikin got me a ride to the house. That way I wouldn't be lost or killed or something. I was hit by a small rocket nearly as soon as I got there. I was hit with it 2 more times in the course of the evening. It didn't hurt, jsut left me very confused.

And then I got to paint. Though, I feel bad for not decorating very well. I wish I had some decorations. There was a monkey in the doorway though. It was pretty cool. Wish I could ahve thought up that. I didn't put my ugly lanterns up. But one did get set on fire. It burned rather well, actually. And I never actually finished showing people how to make a lantern. Oh well.....

We had chinese food. I didn't eat much--my tummy has become a little unaccustomed to food, so when I eat, it hurts a little. But I ate enough to reassure everyone that I wasn't giong to die. And I had tea. Communist tea. Massive amounts because I was unbelievably thirsty. But all of it made the last remnents of that headache go away. The top of my head no longer felt like burning.

We watched some anime. Love Hina, Bottle Fairy, and some odd show about delinquents. Love Hina, I had seen before and still confuses me. I think it's the turtles that do it. I can't get passed those turtles. Bottle fairy was the cute ep about Golden Week. Whee sarara commits seppukku. It's so cute. I love that show. The one about the delinquents just left me very confused. I don't think I understand that humor very well. But everyone in it had magic hair. Oh, and there was a gorilla. Which is kind like a monkey. So there, it ties in with the new years theme.

A little after midnight, jenny and katie were going home and they are my ride so I had to return to campus. I feel bad that I really didn't help clean up more. If I had known I was going to be leaving at that time, I would ahve gone in and washed the dishes at least.

When leaving, ben gave me a kitty plushie to add to my grand collection. I shall ahve to find him something nice to thank him for that and for letting me use his place.

I came home to a letter to remind me of my troubles and the embarrassment that my roommate knew exactly what my problem was. So, if it was that obvious, I figured I might as well be honest with the email a bit. Which I did. Sorta.

Then, just as I was about to go to bed, I got a call from patterson front desk because their staff is too incompetent to get their own desk manned. Actually, I don't blame the staff. I blame troy mostly. And the ras partially. Troy doesn't know how to run the desk, let alone TWO desks. He jsut doesn't seem to be able to handle it. And the ras haven't been the most helpful bunch. There are a few good ones. But I've noticed that the majority of the ras working in bruff quad this year have been pretty incompetent and unhelpful. ( Lots of complaining about how much I hate work. :P )

Anyway, I'm trying to not completely lose my good feeling from earlier today. Tomorrow I'll hopefully be going to the museum to see that Egypt exhibit. I'm going to go with donnie. The original plan was to go with my other friends, but I don't see that happening. Multiple reasons, but mostly because they are too busy. And harry potter offered to take the suite out for thai food. Because we are all sad and mopey. justdandy has suggested we start putting prozac in our water.

I think I shall go find harry potter's lj now. Because he is harry potter. And then I shall give him hogwarts colors, as aristarla requested. Hopefully I still remember the colors she told me right.
