This is the longest work-shift EVER. I want to sleep so badly.

Hmmm, so today....

There was an unexpected listening quiz in japanese this morning. I don't think I did poorly, but not as well as I would ahve liked.

In asian culture, we finished up a movie on geisha. It was a pretty spiffy movie. And much better than a lecture.

In cultural criticism, I had a midterm. It seemed really easy to me and I finished with more than 15 minutes to spare. That makes me nervous. Maybe I didn't write enough. But I did know the topics being asked and didn't ahve to waste time thinking up what
I wanted to write for my essay, so maybe I did alright.

When I got back from that, the stupid emergency door was open and going off. So I used it as an excuse to make a rite-aid trip. Plus it was a nice day.

Then [livejournal.com profile] zorikin came over, since he is feeling a bit better. I am not ashamed to say I had missed him. Even if it was only for um, 2 days. He's still a little sick though, so I hope the going out of the house doesn't send him back to icky sickness.

I took a quick nap and then went to roze and scott's to listen to kelly's paper on jean lafitte. She is presenting it tomorrow at a conference. After listening to it, I think she will do just fine. It was a very good paper.

Afterwards, came back to campus to do a little ddr. But I was kinda too tired and was messing up a lot. Definitely not on the top of my game this evening. And I had to leave too early cause I had work.

Eventually this shift will end and I will be able to go to bed. And hopefully ben won't be too sick this weekend. And um, stuff. Sleep. I would like to sleep now. Yes.
Not good. I keep drifting off to sleep at work.
