(no subject)

Heh ^^; Stayed up kinda late. Again. But it was worth it.

Unfortunately, after 6ish, the dogs started to cry and I had to dash back to my room before I got caught. It was a good thing I ran when I did, cause no more than 5 minutes after I pulled the blankets over me, someone came out of their room.

I was woken up around 11 by a phone call, and couldn't fall back asleep. Had breakfast, got dressed, and continued cleaning the house so I can have people over tomorrow. My room is nearly clean. It's freaky.

When my brother got home from card gaming (He's 18 today, isn't that freaky?), I took him to the comic book store for free comic book day. It was also 20% off at the store, so I'm glad I waited until today to get the next issue of fables. Yay for saving change.

The free comic selection wasn't too fancy, but I got a few. Got spiderman (cause I'm such a geek), teen titans (yay beastboy!), and the ballad of sleeping beauty (don't know what it is, but worth a try. looks interesting enough). I miss my comic store in new orleans. They are super cool. :P

Adventure on the high seas!

This afternoon as I was cleaning, mom suddenly freaked out and started yelling at all of us that we don't do anything around this house and that she was like a slave being forced to do all the housework. The entire rest of the family was very confused because, in order to hear her rant, we had to stop our current tasks--cleaning.

She then stomped downstairs and moved some stuff around for a bit until she got bored of her pretend housework and made herself lunch. Meanwhile, the rest of the family returned to our chores, now considerably more fearful about it.

After we had finished everything we were supposed to do, daddy wisely suggested we get out of the house to give mom time to cool off. So, we hitched the boat up to the car and drove down to the beach for a few hours.

Daddy let me drive the boat for a little bit. Just when we were going slow. Still, it was fast enough for the wind to steal his hat. ^^; We kept trying to catch it but I kept missing it. Then this HUGE yacht ran it over!!!! Luckily it resurfaced and we finally fished it out. :P

The rest of the time was spent driving fast. Mom hates when we go fast, so it's much more fun when we go without her. We were bouncing over the waves! Wheeee!!! I loved when we'd go over a particularly large one. We'd drop so fast and hard! It was great!

The only not so cool part of the trip was when we landed in another huge wave that then splashed into the boat and all over me. :P Bleh, salty!

My dog is currently chewing on her feet and I'm thinking of taking a nap soon. Salt water makes me sleepy. That, and staying up past 6. ^^;
