16 days! :)
Last night on pbs there was an incredibly cute show about trained birds. The filmers made a tiny town for the birds, and little costumes, and the birds were trained to do little tricks like pull carts and carry things. It was amazingly cute.
They had a little bird bar, and the bartender bird would lift a little cup to the counter where another bird would hold it with one of his feet and pretend to drink. And there was a slot machine where the birds would pull the handle and seed would fall out.
The bird school was full of baby birds. It was recess and they were on a little teeter totter thing with the teacher bird pushing them around. The washing bird could hang clothes on a line to dry. The taxi bird could pull other birds around the town. It was all so cuuuuute! :)
Unfortunately, the show stopped focussing on the cute things the birds could do and tried to tell a story. It wasn't a very good story and I fell asleep. Oh well.
This morning I woke up obscenely early because my neighbors decided that 9am was a good time to have their landscapers start working. So loud! I was not a happy girl.
My parents left to do construction on the rental house (They want to sell it.) so I was stuck with the task of picking my brother up from card gaming. He made me miss the second half of Gargoyles. Does he not realize I centered my life around that show in middle school? Bah to him!
I think I'm going to try to make myself a milkshake to console myself.
