Dec. 1st, 2005 09:50 amWe got the license plates yesterday and went to Motor Vehicles before work this morning but of course, Thursday is their late day and they aren't open in the morning so we will go tonight.
We didn't like the return address of Ben's place on the envelope. We do hope you are still with the Pina's. We would NOT approve of you living with Ben and we sure hope you aren't. We like Ben very much but you were not brought up to live with a man without marriage. We have few restrictions but this one we don't approve of. You can spend time at his place but we want you to go home every night to your own place with Noname. I hope you can assure us that you are not living with him because it disturbs us very much.
Pooo, I was hoping she didn't know that was ben's address. I was planning on pretending that was my "new" apartment. I guess I'll just have to pretend to live at the Pina's FOREVER because I can't afford a fake apartment just for an address. *sigh* Life is stupid.
And now I can't concentrate. I'm going to spend all day worrying about this. Bah.
[EDIT] Here's how I think I will write back.
"I'm glad you got the plates. I was worried that they may get sent back for not being packaged right or something weird like that. I used ben's address because I would find out if they got sent back faster, since I'm there most of the time. At the pina's I get the mail when I remember to check for it, which isn't often.It's nice to know that you TRUST your own daughter. Thanks a lot. I'm glad to know you are so quick to assume the worst in me."
[EDIT2] I really want to say something about this line. "You can spend time at his place but we want you to go home every night to your own place with Noname."
I think I really need to work up the courage to tell her off. Where does she get the idea that she can give a grown adult a curfew? Grrrrr... If it were not so close to Christmas, I'd write a nastly letter to her. But I don't want to have to deal with the fighting when I come home. Seriously, I would give up all my Christmas gifts if I could just avoid my family for the rest of my life.
