Nov. 10th, 2006 09:25 amLast night the internet and the cable went out. I tried to use my time to productively make rice pudding, but ben made me play FFX. So I cooked a bit in between movies.
The game really frustrated me because it was about 75% movies. And the little bit that wasn't a movie? I had to walk to the trigger for the next movie. That's not how a game should be played!
Also, the voice acting? REALLY annoying. I read very very fast, so by the time the voices start talking I've already finished reading the subtitles. I can then click to skip passed the voices, but I get stuck with all these weird half-sentences in my ears. And that only works outside the movie, so 25% of the game. I think I'm going to explore the options and find a way to turn the voices off. They just make the game slow and tedious.
At one point in the game I was so frustrated by the constant movies that I threw the controller across the room. How on earth did this game get so popular it merited a sequel!?
And one more thing....HOW CAN EVERYONE BREATHE UNDERWATER!?!?!
