Monday I went to that conference again. I missed my first bus on the way there though. And then there were delays on the red line thanks to someone getting sick on the train. But I got there. And it was boring. But at least there was free lunch again. I am all about free food.
After the conference, I tried to go home but my train broke down. So then I missed my bus. I was sad and tired when I finally got home. I ordered chinese food for dinner because I was too tired to cook and ben had spent the whole afternoon cleaning. (The kitchen sink is EMPTY!)
Monday was nightmarish. My morning train was delayed because another train was broken. I was 15 minutes late for work because our train was just sitting in a tunnel waiting for the other train to be cleared away.
Then we find out first thing in the morning that a letter was printed and mailed with the wrong phone number on it. With the phone number of a dating service on it. BIG problem. I'm not sure how they are going to fix that.
I needed to run to the atm to pay for lunch but it was slightly rainy. Not a problem, right? I brought an umbrella which BROKE in a sudden gust of wind, and then the skies opened up and dropped everything they had on me. I was literally dripping when I got back to the office. And I didn't have a spare change of clothes so I had to sit in the soggy mess and try not to die as I froze. (BOOO to AC!)
In the afternoon, I noticed that very urgent art had not come in so I called the company up to find out why. They said they'd been trying all day but the emails kept bouncing back. AND NO ONE THOUGHT TO CALL AND TELL ME!?!?!? So after cleaning out my mailbox I finally got the art.
After work was veggie pick up and thankfully that didn't go bad. I picked up my stuff (tiny onions, garlic, basil, parsley, sweet peppers, hot peppers, and tomatillos) and went home. I went to bed pretty early after that. I just couldn't deal with the day anymore. Then I had nightmares about zombies.
This morning has also been pretty stressful with pretty much everything exploding again. I can't wait for the weekend.
