(no subject)

Pottery was not canceled last night, which surprised me because the road to
the class was terrible. (When are they going to learn to plow streets around
here?) There was some mild sliding, but I was going slow enough to stay in
control.

The teacher wasn't there (nor half the class) so the rest of us got started.
The teacher showed up about an hour late. I had already been working on a
cup which she immediately told me to give up on. Sad.

I made 2 bowls after my cup, with several disasters in the middle. But I did
notice a general trend towards improvement in my work. Yay!

My hands are not used to such hard work though. I had a horrible cramp in my
left hand by the end of the night. It felt a little better after a hot
shower, but it still hurts if I grab something tight. I hope it won't be a
problem for tae kwon do class tomorrow.
