I am annoyed with work. Maybe if I ignore it for 5 minutes I'll feel better.

Yesterday my bus was early and I just barely caught it by running and
waving. Today it was late. Figures, cause I got to the stop early today.

Ben was sweet and bought me dinner last night. Since I had pottery class, it
was a huge help.

I started the class with the new teacher. I think I doubled in skill on the
very first day. I was having trouble centering the clay (like I always do)
so he stopped me and suggested another way to do it. It was like magic! Now
I center really quickly (for me) and am far less exhausted. Another person
was having trouble opening up the clay, so he watched what she did. Then he
got out a big notepad and marker and walked her through with diagrams how
she was doing it and how she should do it. She didn't have any trouble after
that.

We learned the very basics of turning a cylinder into a bowl. When we made
mistakes, he explained why it happened and suggested other ways to try to
shape the clay. By the end everyone had made a bowl-ish looking pot. In my
previous class, people were still struggling to make cylinders. (After 8
weeks!) I think that was a waste of time. Our old teacher was awful. I need
to figure out who to complain too cause she wastes time and money.

After class, I brought home most of my finished pots from my last class.
Anyone need an ugly salsa bowl? I have plenty to spare. I hope I can make
nicer things this time around.

Yes, I do think I feel better now. I think I can answer some of these more
annoying emails now.
