Working for a non-profit

There was mild drama at work today.

The marketing company we have been using since forever has suddenly decided to start charging us for lunch. I think they are mad at us because we have been using their services less. (Their packages started to look all the same, so we are using some other companies to spice things up.)

My boss was like, "Fine! We will feed ourselves!"

But then her boss yelled at the marketing company and we got free lunch.

A really bad lunch. It's like they picked the worst deli in the area. Passive aggressive maybe?
