The morning commute
Sep. 17th, 2008 09:39 amThe man next to me on the bus farted. There should be a special hell reserved for people who fart in enclosed crowded spaces.
He also bumped my arm while I was packing up my knitting, causing me to dump the contents of my purse all over the floor. At least there were a few nice people who helped pick everything up.
There were train delays, but other than that the ride was quiet.
Until I tried to leave the station. Then the gate decided to go out of service while I was halfway through, causing it to painfully close on me. Why don't those things have some sort of safety thing to prevent them from crushing people?
At this point I am probably considered an anti-spokesman for public transportation.
