(no subject)

Last night I took ben to see tim and eric awesome show great job live. It was my anniversary gift to him. He was laughing and smiling through the entire show. I'm glad he really liked it because for me, it was like discovering what hell would be like when I die.

A room filled with hundreds of teenage boys clapping and chanting "DIARRHEA!"

The opening act was pretty terrible. But such is often the case for opening acts in my experience.

I was really annoyed when he asked everyone to stand up. We had such a hard time finding seats where we could see, and all of that work was lost when 9 foot tall teenage boys got in the way. I wanted to run through the room and kick them all in the knees.

There was a guy that looked 100% like weird al but ben says that there's no way he was weird al. I don't know. He looked just like the weird al up on the screen.

While I didn't enjoy the show, I did enjoy going out to dinner with ben beforehand. On the train ride to the restaurant, we saw one of those fancy moving pictures ads on the side of the opposite train. It was for coraline! It pleased me.

The restaurant we went to had happy hour sushi. Ben ate vast quantities of it. I had chicken and broccoli because I am boring. I wish I had been able to bring home my leftovers. I always crave chinese food. I had to leave my leftovers behind because it would have been a hassle to bring them to the show.

Oh! And our appetizer came with fire! That was neat! All appetizers should come with fire.

So overall it was a good evening. Ben was happy with the show and I was happy with the food.
