It is saturday and ben is out gaming so I am stuck at home with the chores. Pooooo.

So far I have done a ton of laundry and repaired a couple articles of clothes in the mending pile. I think I'll fix up one more thing, then go back to crocheting my beach dress. I am almost done with the top. After that, it's just chains of loops row after row. That should go fast.

I found a few dresses in my closet that maybe I could use as a coverup in a pinch if I don't finish though. I need to try them on first. They were from my high school days when I was significantly less curvy. I suspect some of them may look ridiculous now.

My dog is sleeping next to me right now and snoring. It is very cute. Less cute is when she farts in her sleep though. She has done that three times so far today. I think she is punishing me for making her walk in the rain earlier.

And then I woke up and told ben I had a nightmare.

Ben: I had a mini crick in my neck. I guess you could call it a cricket.

Minute cake

After dinner, ben mentioned he was in the mood for cake. And because I am THE BEST wife ever, I made him one.

- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 table spoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 3 table spoons veggie oil

Mix dry ingredients in a microwave-safe coffee mug.

Add egg.

Mix in rest of wet ingredients.

Put mug in microwave for 3-4 minutes.

Let cool for about a minute.

(Optional: Drizzle with chocolate syrup.)

Eat.
