Apr. 23rd, 2010 09:42 amSomewhere in my apartment is the last issue of No Hero. I don't know where it is and that fills me with madness.
Probably with that issue are the first 7 issues of Unwritten. And two missing issues of Fables. And three missing issues of Air.
It makes catching up on my comics a bit frustrating.
I'm glad I read a lot of one shots, because otherwise this pile would be totally unmanageable.
I canceled a lot of the ongoing series at the start of the new year. I wasn't able to keep up as it was. Some of them, I hadn't even STARTED reading. They were just piling up, waiting for me to see if I liked the series.
I finally gave Air a try. And didn't like it very much, despite all the good reviews. It's good I stopped that one before I had too many issues sitting around. It was a romance, which tend to bore me. Plus it followed that same stupid trope that women can achieve anything when they are in love. So I start Unwritten next, which also got good reviews. *shrugs*
I've been having a hard time finding comics I really like lately. Fables is the only one I really look forward to. Anyone have suggestions?
