Jul. 4th, 2010 08:26 amLast night ben took me out to eat. I even got slightly dressed up for the occasion.
We went to a local restaurant that was having a special where you got a free movie ticket (to the local theater) with each meal. The restaurant was a little pricier than we usually go to, but we stuck to the less expensive menu items so it wasn't a problem. And with the movie tickets, which cost nearly $10 each now, we probably came out ahead.
Unfortunately service was pretty bad. Our waitress kept disappearing for long amounts of time, leaving our drink cups sitting empty. We're not especially hard to please people, but we do get very thirsty on hot days.
Still, I had a good time being out with ben. It made me very happy.
