Some idiot gave my old wedding email address out as her email address. So I keep getting her mail. I've gotten meeting requests, congrats on events, job offers... all sorts of stuff that I assume she'd want to read.
At first, I would reply to the email to let the sender know that they have the wrong email address and to contact that person to get whatever the correct one is. This failed miserably. Either she's giving them the exact same address again or they are totally ignoring me. I'm going to assume they are all idiots.
Right now I am marking everything that should be hers SPAM. It doesn't actually stop them from sending me stuff, but it makes me feel a little better.
Ideally, once I finish working on my wedding album, I won't need my wedding account anymore. Then I can stop checking that account and program an auto-reply that says 1) I am not that stupid person; 2) Stop trying to email that person with this email account, because it's incorrect; 3) If they're actually trying to contact me, my email address is blah.
