I started some new aerogarden plants last week. I planted romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Already I have little sprouts coming up!
I'm only taking pictures of the tomato, since I have planted lettuce before. Hopefully I can get some good salads out of these. Though in hindsight I probably should have planted lettuce a few weeks later since it grows so much faster. Oh well. I can always grow more if I need to.
It'll be nice to have fresh salad all through winter. :)
Also, I have a small pack of basil on order because my basil finally died. It lasted a good long while, so I'm not upset. It died when I needed to replace a broken filter on my large garden. It didn't take kindly to me denying it water and nutrients (I couldn't replace the filter until all the water drained from the unit) and then cutting its roots to get it out. The small pack comes with 3 pods, so I will have fresh basil for over a year I would guess.
