Cruise Recap! Day 6 - Last day at sea!

The week went too fast and soon it was the final day of the cruise! So sad!
I would have liked to sleep late that day, but I was DETERMINED to do everything the ship had to offer. And I had yet to go ice skating because the rink would fill up! All those evil spring break children!
So on the final day, I dragged ben out at 9am for ice skating. And victory was ours!

Victory on the tiniest skating rink ever! :P
It was fun though! I went round and round until I was tired and dizzy. And I only fell down once! Yay!
After skating, we grabbed some breakfast. Then we finally got to use the hot tub! It felt really good on my sore muscles. I was tempted to stay there for the rest of the day...
But I decided I wanted a souvenir glass to bring home, so we took part in some fancy umbrella drinks on the balcony.

Mine was very strong and I slept until the afternoon. Oops!
We woke up in time to see the ice skating show though. It was called Strings and followed the life of a violin. I thought it was a pretty weird topic to make an ice show about, but at least the tricks were neat.
It starts off with the violin maker making a violin that makes very pretty music.

Then some guy that I think was the devil, buys the violin. The maker was like, "no wat!" but he sold it in the end.

The devil guy then sold the violin to the french court.
And there was much dancing.

From there it went to the austrian court. And there was much dancing.

Then somehow gypies got their hands on it! Of course, there was much dancing. And tossing of women.

From there it ended up on a boat.

It landed in latin america. Where the men are very strong.

Then things got a bit confusing. I think it ended up in the hands of immigrants in america. (Symbolized by terrible outfits and ugly novelty hats.)
So russian immigrants got their hands on the violin.

And irish immigrants.

And then cowboys? (Who wrangle their women.)

And then it ended. The show started out strong but by the end I didn't really have much of a clue what was going on other than people being tossed around the ice. The tricks were neat though. (But very hard to photograph. Sorry!)
At that point we FINALLY decided to chill. Which was long overdue. I think I may have fallen asleep again too.
In the evening, we went to the Farewell show. It wasn't very good. Just more of the singing and dancing we had seen all week.

Then they had all the staff that weren't working at that particular moment to come up on stage. The stage wouldn't have been able to hold everyone! It was very full.

We had dinner at the italian specialty restaurant that night - Portofinos.
I wasn't particularly impressed by the food. But the desserts were very pretty.

I think if I ever cruise on this cruise line again, I'll stick with the main dining room. The food was just as good (the desserts better) and didn't cost extra! But at least I can say I tried it all!
