holytoastrIt rained! Yay rain!
After over a week of 95+ degree weather, we had a big boomy thunderstorm this afternoon. When it was over, it was 20 degrees cooler outside. It's like a different world out there.
If it stays like this, I think I'll mow the weeds tomorrow. (After a week of 95+ degree weather, the grass has given up.)
I know Maggie is super happy. She's been seeking comfort in her little pool for the past week. It was so hot this morning, she was laying down in the water to cool off as much as possible. Normally she just sits in the water. I think she'll appreciate a walk tomorrow. She hasn't been on one of those since the derecho.
