In new orleans, the rain would come down without any warning and the whole world would flood. Here, it seems, lightning starts hours before the rain. There has been lightning and thunder, but no rain, all evening. It's very strange to me.

Also, the people at the grocery store are going to think I'm crazy because I always seem to be buying dog food in the middle of the night. (Thank god for 24 hour grocery stores!) Maybe they think I eat it as some sort of midnight snack.

I must clean noname's small spot of excitement now that I have carpet cleaner, and then I want to go to bed. I am a very tired girl.
