So, I called about my car. They were like, "Oh yeah, we've been done for hours but our alignment machine is broken, so we couldn't align it!"

So I told them I wanted to pick up my car. Then I walked myself over and before going in, took a look at my car. They.never.put.the.tire.on.the.car. *twitch*

So I go inside and very loudly announce so that everyone in the store could hear, "I brought my car in this morning to have my tire replaced and it was never put it on the car!!!" I would like to say I got instant service, but instead I got crazy service. First the guy at the desk looked like he was going to fx my problem by yelling into the garage to find the guy who worked on my car.

Then he pointed out that the new tire was in the trunk. I told him I knew that, but I requested this morning that it be put on the car. He then asked WHY? *twitch* If I'm going to buy a NEW tire, WHY ON EARTH WOULD I WANT TO CONTINUE ON THE SPARE!?!?!?

So, I politely told him that my spare was as old as the car, and I'd feel safer driving on a new tire. I also pointed out again that I asked him to do that this morning.

He finally goes and talks to the guy who worked on my car and it takes a total of 5 minutes to put the tire on. No alignment, but I so do not care anymore. I never want to deal with this people ever again.

So yes, tire obtained. But I'm never going to Merchant's tire ever again.

Isn't that the point of getting a new tire...so you don't have to drive on the spare? What morons!

That's what I would think. Why else would I spend all that money on a new tire? That spare is as old as the car. I'm SCARED to drive on it!

But I won't be dealing with them again. So it's all good.

It's ok. The spare works fine. It went over 300 miles (Wow, I should have taken care of this sooner!) and was still running strong! Plus I really don't have to money for another tire when none of them have holes.

But really, why should I drive on that old thing when I bought a shiny new one? So now it's all good and the spare is back in its hole, ready to help me out the next time I hit something stupid. ^^;

And forgive the repetitiveness of my reply. I am far too tired to be awake right now.
