Ingredients for Dominion Root Beer: carbonated water, sugar, honey, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, natural and artificial flavor extracts, yucca, sodium benzoate, and citric acid.

I count FOUR types of sugar there. Bleh, this stuff is vile. Ruined a perfectly good root beer float.

Anyway, stuff. I took my dog for a looooong walk this afternoon. She was very tired when we got home. Then I clinged to ben for a bit, since I was lonely all day and missed him. However, I eventually got bored of watching him type, so I went into the living room to watch tv.

We have over 100 channels and nothing was on. So I called up the free on demand movies and found The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. I had heard of it before and was curious about it. With nothing else on, it seemed the logical choice. And I really liked it! I approve of a movie in which the main character directly controls reality. :)

After it was over, Invader Zim was on! I squeed at gir a lot. I love gir! He's so cute!!!!!!

Ben is at work now. I'm thinking of going to bed early because I am super tired. But first I need to drink something to get the taste of this root beer out of my mouth. Bleh.

Yeah, I first heard about it when I went to see Lost in La Mancha. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen had bombed in the theaters and, as a result, he had the worst time getting funding for his Man of La Mancha film. (It would have had johnny depp!!!)

And then it rained and flooded and his equipment washed away...

Poor guy....

I think it's sad that Rowling wanted him to direct Harry Potter but Warner Bros. said they wouldn't take him.... and then the "Good Omens" movie never happened either.. *grumble* Hopefully "The Brothers Grimm" will be a success and he'll get more chances in the future.

I have absolutely no interest in Brothers Grimm, but I may go to a matinee or something just and hope it does well just do that the movie people let him make the movies I do want to see.

If they ever made the Good Omens movie, I would be there on the first day, ticket alrady in hand, drooling on the glass doors until they let me in.

Yeah not to into Brothers Grimm either (Matt Damon and Heath Ledger being the stars being a major reason for that.) .... but Good Omens... hells yeah.. I'd probably go as one of the four horsemen. :P *goes as the newbie Pollution and just makes a litter trail behind her* :P

Only a few of them are free. There's one channel on the menu that says Free Movies, and then you only get about 20 movies. They don't switch movies out of the list very often, though. Munchausen was a happy new surprise. (I was just going to watch 1776 again!)

We're actually thinking of getting rid of the cable since there's so little on tv, and all I watch are the free on demand movies. We might just get a subscription to something like netflicks instead.
