Today's adventure. Car won't start. A dead battery. Fun fun fun.

I tried to get people in the parking lot to help me, but they all gave me the same story. "Sorry, I'd love to help but I'm running late." They may be running late, but I can't get to work at all now. Thanks folks.

Ben was wonderful and set me up with a AAA account. Our account went through, but wasn't confirmed. I got tired of waiting so I called them and explained and they are sending someone now. That was nice of them.

My bosses were also very understanding about the whole thing. They reassured me that car things happen and to just let them know when I do eventually get to work.

So now I wait for AAA. They will jump my car and the day will be saved!

[EDIT] It's not the battery. Now they want to tow the car to a mechanic to get it fixed. Oh my god I hate the world right now.

This week seems to be car-trouble central. You are the second person today to mention AAA in their post. I don't have AAA, but I should think about getting it, seeing as how my car is a piece of JUNK. It's been very picky about when it will or won't start the past few days. I've had to jump it 5 times.

I'm glad they're hiring me permanently, because with the extra money I'll be able to afford payments on a new car. One that runs EVERY TIME you turn it on. That will be exciting.

I think AAA is going to pay for itself very very soon. Aside from towing and jumping and stuff like that, I'm also getting 10% off repairs. Considering the cost of fixing a car, this may pay for itself VERY fast.
