I left work early to get home at a decent time and ended up getting lost. VERY lost. Rather than getting home in thirty minutes, it took me over an hour. There were hills and it was hot and I was thirsty and it was awful. I actually considered giving up at one point, getting off the bike and sitting down and crying. I kept going though and eventually found home. I collapsed on the bed and was about to cry but ben made me stop. He also got me water, which made me feel less delirious.

I then called the car place to find out they haven't even LOOKED at my car. *cries* No car for tomorrow either. I'm not taking the bike again. I need to find another way.

And now I find out about the supreme court nominee. I knew it was going to be awful news but it still shocked me. I'm not sure there could have been a worse choice. And with this guy being only 50, we're stuck with him for at least thirty years. Thanks bush voters. If this guy gets approved, I'm going to cry. He's got the worst record for about everything. If neocons were some sort of anime robot, he would be their ultimate form. Complete with fancy missiles and lasers. Which he uses to blast away the separation of church and state, and force women down to second-class citizenship.

I should just go to bed. Before someone else goes wrong today.

Someone with very similar credentials was nominated in the 1980s, and he was NOT approved. So, let's hope that our current Senate has good judgment and says no *fingers crossed*

That's what I am hoping for. After all, this is the type of situation that all the checks and balances were put in place for, right?

Now let's just hope for good judgement.
