I keep trying to tell myself it isn't as bad as it looks, because the price includes labor, parts, and the check that they had to do to find out what was wrong.
But let me just say, I am incredibly lucky to have a boyfriend that supports me so much. Otherwise my dog and I would be splitting packs of ramen for a while.
In crazy mom news, mom still insists I stay with your family. :P I told her that I'm looking for an apartment, so she should send me my car info. She went "No no! Stay with your friend's parents until we can look into townhouses!"
*sigh* I'm thinking of just buying a new car and freeing myself of all this aggravation once and for all.
it might not be a bad plan. cars have this terrible way of having one thing go wrong, then another, then another, and before you know it you've invested a shitload into a piece of junk that ends up collapsing anyway.
