holytoastrSo, they started tearing up the streets by my apartment. It would have been nice if they had posted signs a few days beforehand.
Also, I'd like to mention how incredibly pleased I am to live with ben and have our own apartment. All the nasty resentment from my old apartment is non-existent. I rarely ever have to take the trash out or do the dishes anymore. Back in senior year, I was talking the trash out a couple times a week, and dishes were almost every day. Ariana and I did our best to stay ahead of the mess, but the other two rarely lifted a finger.
Now that it's just ben and I, we do dishes maybe once a week. And we end up taking the trash out more often because it smells from sitting too long rather than because it's full. This is with a trash can half the size too! I find all this fantastic and it makes me sorta want to give an "I told you so!" to the universe.
