Jul. 28th, 2005 11:28 pmThis evening was embroidery doom. I was trying my hand at french knots. I can't seem to wrap my brain around how you are supposed to wrap the thread around the needle. I only seem to succeed half the time. It would be terrible if I was a surgeon. Don't worry! I have a 50% success rate!
I am finally done with the gold-ish outline color and have moved to the green for the fins/frill-type things. I'm thinking light green for those, and dark green for some of the more detailed stuff on the head. It will make nice contrast.
I must remember to buy gold thread for the scales. Perhaps I can do that while visiting my family.
I should go to bed because I am VERY tired. I fell asleep on the couch while ben worked on his new computer. He got the wireless set up again and it goes whooosh now.
