Ben and I survived my family yesterday. Barely. It was the usual "Hi! I missed you so much!" while under their breath you could hear them criticize everything about you. Just another day with my family. I'm glad they didn't pick on ben much though.

My aunt kara mentioned that she pays someone to clean up her computer for her. I can't help but be horrified at the waste of money and brain cells. Is she really so stupid that she can't figure out how to do it herself? Sometimes I think that my family should stop contributing to the gene pool. I am going to do my part to reduce the amount of genetic material my family brings into the world.

Today ben and I went shopping to avoid family. We achieved many asian groceries, some computer stuff, a few books, and embroidery floss.

At Waldenbooks, I was falling over at the amount of anime stuff they had. Aside from the usual gigantic wall of manga they always have, they now have a small anime section, some merchandise, and imports! I could not believe it! I am very very impressed.

And I'd like to mention that working with metallic embroidery floss is the devil. Also, it is overpriced.

We picked you up in DC because we are right next to dc! :) The airport is practically in the city. I think that's a sign you should visit!

And no fear! There are no turtles in my apartment! And only one tiny smelly dog!

Thanks! We needed that extra luck today! ^^;

Also, thanks for sending me my tiny cupcake trays! I thought I had lost them forever!!! It was a happy surprise to come home and find them on the kitchen counter! :)

People doing it for you is perfectly acceptable. It's paying for it that's not. However, I now realize that if I'm ever out of a job, I can do that for some easy cash! :)

yeah. i guess when you're dating a boy like ben, doing it for romance is kind of out of the question.

I don't know, sometimes he'll do something nifty for my computer that can be considered romantic. Like when he set it up so I could actually watch my movies without typing in all that confusing stuff in the terminal!
