holytoastrLife is so much better when ben and I are not fighting. I am going to make a point to never fight with him ever again.
Anyway, after work yesterday ben and I went shopping. I bought him the new mario bros game. I didn't feel guilty spending money cause it was bought with a gift card. Yay fake money!
Ben became entranced by the game, so I made dinner. If I keep busy I can't be jealous of the game, right? So I made ravioli for dinner, and then mango bread for dessert. Did you know mango cooks faster than bread does? Yeah...so the apartment smelled all nasty like burning. The mango in the middle was fine, but all of it on the outside turned to charcoal. I don't like the bread anyway. Too bland. Needs some sort of spice or something.
Then we talked about character stuff with dani. I should probably think up a character name before the game tonight. I hate names. It's the hardest part. (Proof: My dog is named Noname.)
After that we watched a bit of tv. Ben held me and I felt absolutely wonderfully happy. Oh, and he's been wearing his hair up for me which makes him look super super cute.
We went to bed kinda early cause ben has work today. For the second night in a row I dreamed I was in the anime series karin. Not as myself, but as karin. And ben was usui. It was reeeaaaalllllly weird. The other night I was just running around a lot being embarrassed. (A central theme to the show.) Tonight, I dreamed we were going on an overnight class trip and my (karin's) dad was all upset that there would be boys and girls around together. And I had to explain that there were different rooms and not to worry. The trip was at a beach or something, and we were studying the ecology of the area and stuff. And, of course, things were embarrassing. And winner kept threatening ben (usui), making things more embarrassing. What a weird dream.
I should probably start getting ready. I need to make a complete list of all the fabric and notions I need to buy today. And then I want to shower before I head out to the fabric store. I hope today won't be too expensive. I went to the bank and took out a bit of money. I am limiting my spending for the rest of the month to ONLY what I have in my pocket. That way I won't worry about taking too much out. I would be horrified if I bounced a check. Stupid funeral turning my budget all weird. Next month I'll be back on track though.
