holytoastrThe first night alone...An absolute nightmare.
First of all, when I'm all alone in the apartment I can hear every single noise in the entire apartment complex. So I spent much of the evening freaking out that someone was trying to break in and kill me. I must have checked the locks on the windows and doors at least 50 times.
Then I finally go to bed and try to sleep. My dog lets me hold her so I'm not awake for too long. Then, just a few hours later....BOOM!!!! I flew out of bed and hit the ceiling.
I don't like thunder. Especially loud thunder scares me quite a bit. And this thunder was causing my apartment to shake!
So I'm all alone in bed crying and wishing ben was here while hugging my dog as tightly as possible. I don't know how long the store lasted. Felt like hours. It was so awful.
I can't handle this living alone thing. I hope this week goes faster than yesterday.
