Aug. 7th, 2006 09:30 pmThe number of mosquito bites on my legs and arms are...staggering. I can count 17 right now, just the ones that itch. I may go insane.
Mosquitos must see me as some sort of gourmet meal. I bet they tell all their mosquito friends around that I'm the best tasting thing in the area. That would explain why they all hang out at my back door, rather than the creek where they belong.
I never got this chewed up in New Orleans. The last time I had bites like this, I was still in high school. I used to have bites all up and down my leg, which I'd scratch until they started to bleed. And I couldn't hide the scabs because we had to wear skirts to school.
So my question now is how did these bugs get me when I wear pants every day? Are they flying up the legs?
I need to go find something to put on these things. I'm going crazy.

They also track carbon dioxide - maybe you should think about cutting down on your breathing.
(I swear, I read a yahoo!answers page about mosquitoes just today.)

Not horribly bad, though! At least these will be okay with some itch creme!
