So ben came home on saturday without any problems. I spent the rest of the evening being a silly happy girlfriend. I'm really glad ben missed me. :D

Sunday morning was perfectly lazy. I got to wake up to a cute boy and an annoying but cute dog and life was perfect again. We spent the day just sitting around watching tv. At least until I discovered hundreds of fleas all over my dog.

I didn't see them before, I guess, because her fur is black and so are tiny fleas. But they were all over her belly. So I gave her a good bath with regular shampoo and then ran to the store to get flea shampoo. I didn't see anything for my carpets though. (But amanda has given me advice on how to deal with that!)

Tonight the dog is getting a really good long flea bath. And I'm going to buy stuff for the carpets. I don't know where she picked up these fleas. :( She had a collar and everything!

At least I have ben. :) He makes things better. I missed him so much!

flea collars are totally useless. i'd reccomend the monthyl medication that you apply on their necks.

I don't like the medication on their necks because my dog likes to rub against everything. I like being able to take the collar off when I need to.

And actually, up to this point I've never had a problem with collars. They've worked great on my dog. (She's so tiny and her hair is so short to begin with.) But I forgot to take it off of her in the rain, so I think I accidentally washed off all the medicine.
