Ok, had the meeting about an hour later than I should have. Was told I was too preachy in my newsletter articles. I think my problem is that I assume everyone is sane and reasonable, when the truth is most parents are out of their minds.

Anyway, I would greatly appreciate it if today would end. Work is dumb today and I am tired. I was planning on working on my resume tonight, but I think I'm going to have to nap first. My head hurts from trying to hold my eyes open.

It doesn't help that microsoft word is evil. I like openoffice programs much better. They're a lot more intuitive to use. I don't like having to do tricks to make this document do what I want it to do. And the help manual is NOT helpful.

I'm trying to finish the procedures manual this week. Then whoever replaces me will know what to do. I'd like to put some real helpful stuff in there, but it would be very unprofessional. (Like how I was told not to look like I was thinking during meetings.)

They're hiring someone with more experience than me. I guess that means they learned from their mistakes. I bet I took forever to train.

Grumpy grumpy grumpy. Can I go home to bed now?

i agree today needs to end faster! work isn't kick me around like it seems to be doign to you... but my body hates me and is letting me know about it!

also.. wer your articles suppsoed to be instructional? b/c if so..well DUH they're gonna tell people wht and how to do something...

Yup. My preachy articles were directions on how to decorate a kid's room, and how to organize it. It seems that since I said to actually tell your kids what you are doing, and ask their input, I am overstepping or something. I think it's just ridiculous.

I think "tell me how to do this, but don't tell me what to do" is perfectly reasonable!

I'm sure you did your best for them. You're a good worker, and a good writer! Unfortunately, rich people don't like being told what to do, even when they ask you what they should do.
